The citizens of Koyilandy accorded a warm reception to Dr K Moidu [Chairman- KMCT Group of Institutions] in honour of his philanthropic activities. In his initiative, KMCT Medical College Hospital Kozhikode provided advanced heart surgery to Yeshudas- a renowned singer of Koyilandy.

The surgery was given free of cost, considering Yeshudas’s pathetic economic status. Earlier, the event was inaugurated by Sri K Dasan [MLA- Koyilandy constituency]. Sri K. Sathyan [Chairman- Koyilandy Municipality] delivered the presidential address. Many political leaders, Social activists, and journalists attended the function.

Sri Yeshudas expressed his overwhelmed gratitude to Dr K Moidu. He thanked the doctors – Dr Bijoy Jacob, Dr Sandeep Mohan, and Dr Vijeesh Venugopal- for lending him a hand to return back to normal life.
