The students of KMCT Arts and Science College Chathamangalam had a gala time on Thursday [12th- Jan, 2019] as they took part in the annual sports day- “Dhruva 2k19”. The sports day was held at Mini Stadium, Mampetta.

Dr. Capt. Devasia M. J. [Principal – KMCT Arts and Science College] was the chief guest and declared the sports meet open. Mrs Sakuntala K. [HoD and Asst. Professor – Dept. of Malayalam.] presided over the function. Muthukalshmi SS [ HoD and Asst. Professor – Dept. of Hindi] and Suganthi B [ Asst Professor – Dept of English], Justin Jacob [Dept of Physical Education ] were also present on the occasion.

The sports day started with a multi-coloured march past by the contingent of the three houses. Then a group of students demonstrated their acrobatic skills. The event finished with the prize distribution for champions of different sports.
